Get Info – About Arizona Central
Arizona Central Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative that has been serving families across Arizona for more than 70 years. The credit union currently serves more than 70,000 member/owners and has assets of more than $420 million.
Here’s how Arizona Central is helping to get Arizona’s economy moving:
- Locally owned & operated – The money we lend and hold in deposits typically stays in Arizona, which helps to fuel our local economies.
- Member owned – As a not-for-profit cooperative, we’re dedicated to serving our members, most of whom live here in Arizona, not stockholders or other outside interests located in other parts of the country.
- Money to lend – Despite the ongoing “credit crunch,” Arizona Central has money to lend for vehicle loans, mortgages, home equity loans and more.
- Saving you money – We help our members save money by offering lower loan rates, better deposit rates and fewer fees than other banking institutions. In fact in 2008 alone, Arizona’s credit unions saved their members nearly $190 million in direct financial benefits, which equals a savings of $229 per member household.*
- Helping small businesses succeed – Small businesses continue to be the lifeblood of our economy. Arizona Central offers a full-range of business financial services to help fuel their success.
- Low-cost Visa® Credit Cards – Arizona Central has kept its rates low and offers other benefits that are hard to find, like no fees for cash advances and balance transfers, 25-day grace period on purchases and no over-the-limit fees.
The credit union operates 12 full-service branches in Arizona with offices in Phoenix, Tucson, Glendale, Scottsdale, Chandler, Tempe, Flagstaff and Show Low. In addition, Arizona Central is part of the CU Service Centers® Network for account access at more than 5,600 locations, and the Allpoint ATM Network, with more than 35,000 surcharge-free ATMs nationwide.
